Every provider needs help with their childcare facility. LISC has partnered with local childcare technical assistance agencies to help providers throughout the grant process. Connect with any of the agencies below to get assistance with your childcare needs.
AOK is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to training, coaching, and partnering with home-based educators to create thriving, inclusive childcare communities. We work directly with new and experienced educators in Connecticut and New York City, providing support services at no cost as you build a licensed family childcare program. The majority of our workshops, coaching, and materials are provided in English and Spanish.

Licensing Supports: All Our Kin assists aspiring educators to become licensed and run childcare programs from their homes.

Business Program: Family childcare providers are educators and small business owners, and we are here to help your business grow! During our Business Series, educators develop the skills to create and maintain budgets, handle record-keeping and taxes, market their programs, and more!

Educational Coaching: All Our Kin’s educational coaches can partner with you in growing your child development skills, teaching practices, curriculum-building, and family engagement.

Professional Development: Our in-person and virtual workshops cover everything from early literacy to communication with families to art education to social-emotional learning.

Communities of Support: Taking care of children is rewarding, and also challenging! We want you to have the support and camaraderie you deserve.

The Women's Business Development Council (WBDC), an OEC-funded partner, is offering one-on-one virtual advising at no cost, to help licensed and aspiring childcare centers and group homes in applying for Facilities Funding. Assistance includes guidance on your proposed funding project, preparing your financials, working on a business plan, acquiring a business bank account, implementing a bookkeeping system, and more. We have daytime, evening, and weekend hours available, and can support you in English and Spanish. Family childcare networks offer providers opportunities to develop long-term professional relationships and peer-to-peer support. When you become a member of a network, you will have access to support and resources that can help you improve your business practices.
